Fire Clean Up Efforts

Smoke, oil and ash cause quite a bit of damage after a fire leaving one to wonder should we even take the time to clean household items or just pitch them and buy new.  Sometimes it is very hard to see that an item can be restored to its original beauty. That is where SERVPRO can help!  Our staff is highly trained to do just this!  After wiping off the ash, we thoroughly wipe down the item in question with a chemical sponge. This removes the oils that the fire left that stains the surface. After this is done the item is cleaned completely and then goes through a process that removes any left over smoke smells, leaving the item ready to be used!
